About the Client:

Wine, Dine & Talk Money is a startup company that aims to break down walls surrounding financial topics by creating a comfortable, fun space for women to come together with a financial expert in the room and simply have a conversation. Whether this be a wine night at home with friends, an evening out on the town or a coffee brunch, Wine, Dine & Talk Money provides an onramp for women to take control of their own financial power.

Project Overview:

I was asked to design a visual identity for Wine, Dine & Talk Money. I was also asked to create unique social media content to boost their engagement online.

The client came to me with a color palette already decided, and a description of the brand feel they were going for. They wanted to balance approachable and friendly, which the brand embodies in emphasizing comfort and safe-talk around financial topics, with sophistication and femme, reflecting the force and importance of talking money, and subtly nodding to girl culture <3

Client Logo Concept Feedback: The client didn’t like the logos that were ultra-feminized, or the ones that focused heavily on wine imagery such as grape vines. Instead, they preferred logos that conveyed community and felt more organic. They also liked logos that utilized financial imagery.

Social Media: As a way to help Wine, Dine & Talk Money stand out online, I designed them a series of unique hand-drawn then digitized illustrations to showcase on their Instagram.
